Android download mode is basically an advanced section of an Android device that enables you to load custom files in preparation for rooting, installation of custom ROM and booting into recovery such as ClockWorkMod Recovery. HOW TO TAKE YOUR SAMSUNG GALAXY ANDROID DEVICE INTO DOWNLOAD MODE
- Turn off the phone
- Press and hold the Volume Down key + Power Button + Home Button
- Release all buttons as soon as you see the boot logo and you will see a warning screen thereafter (as seen below)
- Press the Volume Up key to enter into Download Mode or Volume Down to cancel the operation and reboot the device
- The device should go into download mode after hitting the volume up key and will wait for you to run the required tool to flash the recovery, root the device or load the custom ROM.
