Save the ‘beef’ and multiple disappointments you may have experienced with your current mobile service provider. Talk about MTN, AIRTEL, GLO, ETISALAT, VISAFONE and other telecommunications company in Nigeria – at one time or the other, they have failed and sometimes not sorry for their shortcomings but tend to further exploit customers.
Whether it is breach of terms or theft or spam messages (I personally have an issue with this one) or just anything that you feel isn’t alright, simply report the network. YES, you can now report any of these networks directly to Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) fast & free.
Hey! Before you go ringing the bells and sounding every alarm, be sure to first talk to your network’s service provider about the issue and see if it can be rectified. There’s no harm in giving them a second chance (or third perhaps?). Simply call the customer care and explain the issue you are experiencing then hope to have it fixed. If not, try again with another agent until something is done. If however you receive success reports from several agents and nothing really has been done, simply dial 622 and report everything.
I believe purchasing a SIM card ties you to an agreement that is in the best interest of both parties or at some good percentage on both sides. As a customer, you have your rights and one of it – a welcome idea – is reporting your service provider to their grand folks.
How to report MTN, AIRTEL, GLO, ETISALAT, VISAFONE and others to NCC?
Simply dial their toll-free number – 622 and get talking.
